While doing some work on the Survival Rifle Testing i decided to take my Chiappa Little Badger right down and give it a good cleaning.
i like to go watch a quick video on guns that i don't take down very often to remind myself of whats inside and if there are any hidden surprises i may have forgotten.
its that EMS side of me, know what im getting into before i barge in.

so went looking for a video on the take down of the Little Badger.
i dont know if it was just my bad google-foo but i couldn't find one.

so, i was out in the shop and i had a camera and im not known from shying away from making cheesy video's so.... voila!

video on disassembly and reassembly of the Chiappa Little badger!

figured id put this thread here for future reference in case anyone is trolling around looking for some resources.

also, since im putting this up for resource purposes, i was just chatting with Chiappa and it looks like they have a Parts and Waranty center in Canada now, looks like they are using:

i am in no way promoting the above im just listing this here for future references and ease of finding info.

anyways, here is the video.
(and if one person says anything about the spelling mistake in the video..... *shakes fist menacingly*)

i must admit i didnt take mine fully apart when i first got it and it wasnt till later that i found out that they fill up the inside with grease of some sort.
by the time i got it opened and was cleaning said grease was nasty dirty.

im not a big grease fella myself, i prefer to use a good penetrating oil so i spooned out the grease and never looked back.

i guess it makes sense that they put grease in, where the trigger is and hammer is wide open to the guts of the gun for any and all dirt and stuff to go into.

I havent pulled mine apart yet but it doesnt look like too bad of a job.
Its interesting that you mentioned that you found yours packed full of grease when you first opened it. I noticed mine was rather greasy on the outside when I first got it and it was misfiring occasionally as well but I think it just had to loosen up all the grease packed inside! Its working fine now.
I am thinking about trying a red dot sight on it and give it a bit of a tactical look as well!
