If you have a Little badger in both 22lr and 22Mag could you use the same receiver and just swap out the barrels or are barrels fitted to individual receivers? Anyone tried this? I'm looking at picking up a Little Badger deluxe as I like the wood stock over the wire and would like to get a 22Mag but thought it would be great if I had a barrel that could fire 22Short for shooting pests in barns as well but only having to carry a rifle and a barrel would work over carrying two rifles.

if your lucky the .22mag version will shoot .22lr CB's with enough accuracy to deal with the odd pest.
The barrels may swap or may not, I'd lean more towards not. Cheap guns....... you could always buy both.

I bought a Little Badger in 22 mag after seeing that video... The video is lying... No way will a LB .22 mag will relabily shoot .22 lr... Ftf after Ftf...

I did switch barrels between my LB .22 lr and .22 mag with same ftf .22 lr in .22 mag barrel... By the way, the switch works great both ways.

I haven't fired many .22lr's out of my LB .22mag, but I had to try a few just to see..... shooting CCI Quiet .22lr's the all shot fine and accuracy was good enough for grouse out to 20 yards. The only thing I noticed was you had to place the smaller rounds onto the ejector carefully or they could slip behind it.

I just bought a .22 Magnum Badger from a LGS yesterday, used for $150. They sold me it & its tag said .22lr. I thought I bought a .22lr. So I get home, put a .22 in her & noticed it sounded a bit weird. Took a bit, but then I noticed .22 MAG printed on the receiver! SCORE!! At the time, I talked to the clerk about wanting the .22 magnum, but it was a bit more then I wanted to spend atm, & they had new ones only. Said maybe I'll come trade this one in on one in the future lol. This was only $150, & in great shape. BONUS for me, but still, kinda pisses me off they mis-labeled/sold the wrong caliber. Guess I coulda looked it over more thoroughly etc, but I Bought a .22 Badger, not a .22 Magnum Badger. Oh well :p What if shooting .22lr in the Magnum WAS an issue. Mehh..~ Im more then happy getting the little badger .22 Magnum for $150! Now I know not to have worried the .22lr may have damaged anything. {or blown up in the barrel/My Face somehow} lol Cheerz ..~
