Chiappa M1-22 Carbines now in stock!

How's the trigger on it?
It was pretty stiff at first but it feels good now that it has seen some use. I am not sure the exact pull weight, I don't have my gauge. I will try to get that in the next couple days.
This gun has been a great fun shooter so far,and is well worth the buy at this price. I would highly recommend this gun! :)

It looks great! Pretty well as close as you can get to an M1 Carbine with a .22 platform. There are also a couple of videos on youtube showing the function of the rifle.

If Chiappa make an "enforcer" pistol version of this M1 22 the 30 rnd mags will just be for looks as they will be pinned to 10 rnds in Canada.

Hey Barry how about some pic's of the action out of the stock .
How easy is stripping to clean ?

Here we go....
You remove this single flat head screw on the barrel band and slide the band and top grib forward....And remove....

You then angle the barrel and receiver up and slide it forward and it is out.

Slide the bolt handle back to the little notch and pop it up and slide it forward and down. This takes a little practice, but the whole charging handle lifts out of the bolt and receiver and the guide rod/recoil spring.

The recoil spring/guide rod than slide out. Check the nut that retains the recoil spring onto the guide rod. When I first took my action out of the stock the nut fell out onto the floor and I had to figure out where the hell it went. It took a while to say the least.:)

It goes back together the same way, it takes about a minute to take apart with a bit of practice. The trigger group comes off by removing a roll pin from the front and then sliding the whole group backwards.
Cheers...

Purchased a synthetic stock Chiappa M1 for the wife, she wanted the plastic version as she felt it was a wee bit lighter.
Mounted a Tasco Pro Point on it, she's a happy camper with it. Brownie Points maybe.
