Good Day...

Has anyone out there had their hands on a CHiappa M1-22 carbine. I saw them on Ellwood Epps website and the price looks nice at just over $400 for a wood stock. THe pic that i have seen the gun looks great.

Just wondering if anyone has fired one yet or has heard anything about them.

Thanks

I cuurently have
SR-22
Ruger 10-22
VTR- 597
ISSC MK-22
looking to add to my 22 collection

Since you already have a 10/22, you can readily change it to a M1 Carbine copy with one of these. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=...z22/Product/GI-TYPE-APERTURE-SIGHTS-FOR-10-22 and one of these. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=...ct/RUGER-reg-10-22-reg-M1-CARBINE-STYLE-STOCK

I just bought one today and put 300 rounds down the pipe at the range. Not a single fail to fire or eject, and quite accurate with 2 of the 6 brands of ammo that I brought out. The only thing I HATE about it is the Polymer sights. Other than that it was awesome and fun to shoot. It came with 2 mags, and both functioned flawlessly. Its really easy to take apart and clean as well. I am quite impressed.
According to the manual, the stock is the same specs as on a real M1 carbine and is interchangeable.
