Does anyone have any experience with this 357? I have been looking for a replacement since I gifted my Taurus to my father. I understand the barrel displacement and the other aspects of the cylinder and such, I’m just wondering what other peoples opinions are, both pros and cons. Thanks guys

I have the silver non nebula one in 357 mag
I’ve only shot 38 special through it so far but it’s been a fun reliable shooter, accurate too
I love how it feels and shoots
The internals of it are quite complicated I read and a bit wonky so hopefully it holds up durability wise

I shot one quite a bit over a couple of years, and agree it’s a very reliable, nice shooting gun. Felt recoil is light for the calibre, and feels quite different in a good way. It is an attention getter, regardless of how it’s dressed. I’ve never been at the range where someone didn’t notice it and ask questions about it. It is a complicated action, and I’d dread needing to get any work done on it. The Chiappa warranty guy in Canada is neither quick nor pleasant to deal with; none of the local gunsmiths will touch’em & I’m in a big metro area. He’s got you by the short ones, so if your gun breaks, you’re going to do without for a few months

Well I have an excellent gunsmith who lives a few blocks from me. I’ve helped him service weapons for the RCMP. I think I would take a chance on this, now I just need to find a good price.
