Anyone know much about Chiappa's Triple Threat shotgun? I just came across it while looking up something else and it struck my curiousity. I am interested in the price of it, and their different models. With the weight of the 12 gauge with 28" barrel being around 9 pounds it doesn't seem to be a practical hunting gun. I also went on Chiappa's website and sent an email their Canadian distributor but after two weeks I still haven't had a reply.

Thanks for your info.

I owned a triple threat, ended up selling it, it's a super cool shotgun that will put a smile on your face every time it's in your hands, but it's kinda heavy, and 3 barrels shot different POI. I think the triple threat with the stock extension removed would be perfect truck gun, but it's too expensive to be that. Fit and finish was very nice,
locked up tight. I might grab one again for the right price.

I was surprised to see one at Canadian Tire, I think it was around $1600?

I had closer look at the price tag - $2000.

Ian at Forgotten Weapons figures it will be rare & collectable down the road, because
Chiappa won't make or be able to sell many.

Easy for it to be rare. Harder to be collectible. Needs to have found an enthusiastic market, not just be weird. My guess is there are better ways to invest your money than buy one of these boat anchors and wait for the value to go up.
