Mauser Carbine

I have a couple of Mausers made for Chile. Your Saddle Ring Carbine should be a model 1895 action with a barrel 18.25". They weigh about 7.5 lbs and the barrel sticks out of the stock about 2 to 3". This Mauser looks similar in appearance to the Spanish 1916 short rifle. The front sight guards look like the Spanish 1916.
