Hi all
I have a "Modlelo 1912" Chilean Mauser carbine (Mfd. by Steyr) that I got in trade awhile ago, and I'm thinking about selling it. It has been converted to 7.62 NATO with a fair bore that has some pitting in the grooves. The crest is not present, looks like it has been polished off. There is a crack in the wrist of the stock (see pic) that looks repairable and it has a bent bolt as opposed to the straight ones that are usually seen on these rifles. I have seen info on the net that says that some of the carbines came from the factory with bent bolts; it doesn't look like it was done by Bubba, at any rate the bolt matches the reciever. Cleaning rod is not present, but it has the capture screws. Anyone have an opinion on a possible value for this rifle?
