CHINA XINSHIDAI CQA-1 ? Anyone ever heard of these?

So my buddy has an Copy of the M4 and apparently it's not a Nornico CQA, but CHINA XINSHIDAI CQA-1.. Apparently it wasn't actually registered according to the CFO.. I call bull on all this.

He's the first I heard of this. Or did the importing store mess up?
 
So it was actually registered but the wrong manufacturer was on the registration. Big deal. The CFC screws up all the time.

That being said, Norinco isn't a single company. It's more like a group of companies. Or even just a name slapped on stuff made virtually anywhere in China.

Remember that norinco is the name given to most Chinese made firearms. The actual firearms are made by state/ government facilities similar to old Russian surplus rifles like the SKS....

Norinco is the parent company, China Xinshidai is the factory. Just like the Sig 226 some are made in Germany and some are made in the US, they are all under one FRT.
