Chinese ex honour guard?

I just picked up these two Chinese sks. What do you guys think of them? They were advertised as Chinese blade bayonet sks. I was a little surprised when I opened them up and seen all the chrome. Though a lot of the chrome has flaked off. They are still kinda cool o think.

Polish the ***** out of them with a dremel.

Find a company who does chroming and send them the bits to be re-chromed. That would be cool.

Nice i love the you never no what you will get with these rifles. Have a spike type 56 on the way

Yeah they look like they were the practice rifles for the new recruits or something lol. The bores are excellent though.I got both from g4c. They were 400 plus tax. Each.

Did honor guard rifles have bottom swivels?

7mil/ 7th year carbine would've had an a side mounted sling swivel

Yeah the stocks and mags are not original. Looks like they went through refurbishment not sure why they would leave the chrome though.
