Am I being penny-wise and pound foolish to go with made in China scope mounting rings by NcStar or like company?????

This is only for a .22 rimfire and does not need to be extremely durable but I do not want to run into alignment problems. Hate to use up 80% of the windage or elevation adjustment just getting zeroed due to poor ring alignment.

Looking for low 30mm rings that attach to Weaver style base.

Was looking at these from board sponsor......

If I was doing long range precision shooting with a .338 Lapua Magnum I would buy higher quality but this is a budget build .22 LR so looking to save a few shekels where I can.

thanks.

i would say so- the fact that you're mounting a scope that takes 30mm rings alone says that's an expensive scope- most of the chinese are 1 inch , which says 25.4 mm- go for the better quality and get proper- besides,nc star GIVES AWAY their rings with EVERY SCOPE - what does that tell you- and they're identical to the 6.95 tasco rings at wsl- i just got a couple of nc star scopes ( not through marstar) which were incorrectly machined, ( the bar was too short) and they refused to do anything about them, even though i sent pictures
