Westrifle and Frontier Firearms both sell the detachable "duck-bill" magazines that work with the standard SKS rifles. The ones from Cabelas mentioned in this thread are only for the chinese SKS-D, and will not work in a regular SKS.

If you want a "quality" magazines check out Fabsports. Stay away from metal duckbill magazines, they may work for awhile but they will fail in a small round count with broken spot welds, bent feed lips ect ect. Tapco magazines are proven, over 4000 rounds through my SKS with Tapco 5/20.
