Got an e mail from SFRC the other day. They have military, unissued SKSs , supposedly better than the commercial ones. Thinking of getting one. What are the differences between the two types ?

As Howie would say............Technically there has never been a Chinese commercial SKS. All of them were built from military parts. It's all in how they are assembled that makes the difference.
