I've owned several Chinese SKS's, but they all have bright bolt and carrier. So I was supprised when I got this one, it has a chromed bolt and carrier(I thought it's parkerized until CanAm corrected me, thanks.), and on the rear sight, the number on the bottom looks like 'n' (Someone said it's a Russian character) instead of '3' like my other Chinese SKS's. I was told this is an early production, at that time they used some Russian parts to assemble their SKS's, but I'm not sure. Here are the pics.
