Chinese SKS???

I have had this sks since 2001. I don't know much about it other then 'Made in China'

Only stamp is 451.

Looks like one of those "04" serial parts guns that Lever sold some time ago. Note the vertical pin on what seems otherwise a threaded type barrel.

Yeah, I have one just like it. Lever Arms sold a billion of them at $139 several years ago. Mine's a good shooter. Some had issues with the barrel pin, but that issue was resolved after it was identified. Never had a problem with mine.

eos and kodiak pretty well answered your question, its a commercial SKS , imported by leverarms . it has pinned barrel and stamped trigger group.

usually commercial SKS dont have factory code.

i see in your pic , the carrier has no partial serial numbers, is that correct?

i need more info on your rifle .

1. how many digits in your serial number ? 6 numbers? beginning with 04 ?
2. your wood has the swivel at the bottom.
3. i presume no lightenning cut on the bayo lug.

1 7 digits total starting with 04
2 yes
3 not sure. also came with no bayo.
