Chinese Surplus 7.62x54r

I'm sure some of you have already bought some, how does it stack up against the Russian surplus? The price is attractive and my bundle of Russian ammo grows smaller. Is the Chinese surplus a good alternative or should I spend the extra on Soviet ammo for my Soviet milsurps?

If it's as good as the Chinese 7.62x39 I just received then it will be quite good.

I've always preferred the copper-washed steel over the lacquered sort.

I recently got a case of the Chinese 7.62X54 and did a comparison with the Russian ammo. As far as I can tell, shooting at 100Y, it's exactly the same.

I plan on getting more of the Chinese stuff as it's 70 bucks less a case them the Russian stuff.
