Chinese Type 53 Mosin Nagant

The thing I like most about milsurp guns is, even if you get them in bad condition, its a sign that the gun was probably heavily used in a war without refurbishment. Almost all Type 53 made their way to either Vietnam or Cambodia where they were heavily used.

Oddly enough, the bolt to this gun is the smoothest Mosin Nagant bolt I have ever felt.

From China to Cambodia or Vietnam and then to Canada .... pretty interesting story these guns can have.


Reminds me of the Russian refurbished german guns like the k98 ...... probably picked up off the battle field or else, if they were captured elsewhere, they wouldn’t have needed to be refurbished.
