for my savage 12bvss LA in 7mm,Took it out this week and found out that's a little to much for me....recoil is making me flinch a bit more than Im use too. on the fence about selling it or trading it

Did you ever consider a muzzle Brake? A well designed brake will help with recoil. Just a suggestion. I am sure Jerry can suggest a few options.

Pussy...How are you ever going to own anything "manly" if you can't handle a 7mm RM?

In all seriousness, why not start out with lighter bullets in the 140 gr.-150 gr. range or reduced charge loads? Don't give up on the rifle without giving it a fair chance.

I was serious in downloading the 7mm RM. You can do so very easily to where the recoil is neglible. I did this for my 12 year old daughter. If it worked for her it might be an option for you.
