choate tatical stock or cadex chassis

im trying to decide on a stock/chassis for my savage hog hunter. for a choate custom tatical with dbm will bee close to the same price as a urban strike after inletting and bedding would be done. pros/cons of either, im leaning towards the cadex but still undicided

I went with a field strike cadex, was quite happy with it. The nice thing is as soon as you get the chassis, you can slap it in and go to the range. The other stock will take how long with the smith until done?
 
thats kinda what im thinking, also can change grips and butt stock if i choose. i plan on doing the trigger and changing out the barrel in time. i belive the field strike and urban strike only differ in butt stock? the other thing is ive held the cadex with a 20' and 16 1/2' barrel and really like the ergonomics. i havent been able to try the choate though.
 
choate custom tactical $435(clearance price) $500+ with current dollar, CDI DBM $275+, then inletting, and bedding so say $900.00 without mag.
cadex urban strike $945 + GST + Quebec PST $1082 ordered online without mag
 
Yeah, my choate tac stock in rem 700 is pretty nice. Not the lightest. Price was quite a bit cheaper than a cadex unit. I have mine dbm, inletted, glass bed, timney trigger, harris on the front etc.

I would say it depends on rifles usage. If you wanna yank it through the bush and sit in a tree or blind with it......go Cadex. If you just want to do some paper punching.....grab the choate.

You can get that Choate for $211 USD.....
 
yah its the DBM that brings the price up for my savage, i think im going to go with the cadex

the custom tactical? or the tactical, best online price i could find for the custom tactical was $439 USD. tactical $211 USD
