Choices, 2x.45 or 1x.45 and 1x9mm

If you had the choice of 2 .45's or one .45 and one 9mm, which way would you choose?

I have a .45 now and am looking for another pistol, so far torn between a 9, another .45 or MAYBE a .22 Revolver just for the fun factor.
 
I enjoy shooting lots of different types of handguns so my philosophy is not to have too many handguns that "overlap" in design—I'd go probably for something other than another .45. The two .45's that I have are a Colt Combat Target and an H&K USP Expert so to me they're different enough not to cover the same ground. I'd recommend going for a .22 Revolver--fun and cheap to shoot although, if you're used to a .45 already a 9mm would be not a bad choice—a little less recoil and a little cheaper to shoot.
 
I was leaning towards a 9mm anyways, but I think if I can find a cheap "as is" .22 revolver I will buy it as well, then rebuild it as a project. LOL Put those 16 years as a Military Weapons Tech to use.
 
I started with a 9mm, than got a .45 and then a .22. I will probably be getting mostly 9mm's from now on, although I would like a .357 Sig but I think ammo would be hard to come by.

Variety is the spice of life.
 
I had a 9MM as my first gun, and I just recently bought a .22 revolver. It's plenty cheap to shoot and pretty accurate. Good for the bulls-eye nights at the range.
 
If your current choices are limited to .45's and 9mm's, I'd go with one of each. 9mm is cheap enough, and fun enough, to have around, and the .45's always there if you want to put some bigger holes in paper.

I'd say get the best of both worlds and buy one of each.

Though yes, if you can find a .22 revolver, they're fun as well.
