I was wondering if I could shoot buckshot out of my undertaker turkey choke in my 28" barrel 870 express. I was thinking of taking a few rounds of buckshot incase any coyotes come for my decoys while turkey hunting.

I guess I am breaking the law, after I am finished turkey hunting and the turkey season is still open I may go hunting for crows. We dress in camo for crows same as we do for turkey hunting, we use our crow calls and hunt same bushes but call crows instead of turkey and we now can carry buckshot because we are crow hunting and we get the odd coyote coming into a crow distress call while hunting for crows and if a CO checks me he may say I am turkey hunting and breaking the law by carrying buckshot because there are turkey in this bush and I also have #4,5 and 6 shot which are used for turkey so I must be turkey hunting but sometimes when I am turkey hunting I carry light crow loads also for that crow that just bugs me and the CO may charge me because I maybe carrying the buckshot while crow hunting and he may say I am turkey hunting with buckshot instead of crow hunting and carrying buckshot for turkey but I am carrying both crow and turkey calls and only using a crow call to call crows instead of turkey but I shot a coyote with buckshot but I was turkey hunting with buckshot instead of coyote or crow hunting but I have a dead coyote instead of a dead turkey so what will he charge me with?
