Choke size for steel shot

I'll going out geese using BB steel shot and I want to know which choke I should use; all I've found out so far is that full choke isn't recomended. Whatever choke size I end up using I'll be patterning beforehand. Thanks; kfn

Try modified, improved cyl or if you've got one improved modified one of them should pattern the way you want.

I have a light modified that is pretty effective, Modified is a good choice also you could Skeet which I have found to be incredibly effective over decoys.

Why is the full choke not recommended? I run a extra full choke and it seems to work fine with BB ... I also have a modified choke to try. Any info/advice is appreciated.

BTW, I have a modified screw-in choke so I should be good to go; all I have to do now is to hopefully hit those geese to bring 'em down.
