Choke tube lube and who stocks it?

I've used Pro-shot products. Comes in a yellow syringe with a cap. The lube is black and highly viscous so it doesn't run, and doesn't freeze either. You only need a little on the threads and work it in. Make sure you've cleaned the threads first though. I got mine a long time ago in 2007 and I still have over half remaining. I'm pretty sure most self-respecting firearm shops would carry some brand. If not, support the American shops south of the border.

I use Never Seez. You can purchase virtually the same product in a small tube labelled choke lube, or in a much bigger container labelled Never Seez, for about the same price.

Anti-seize, gun oil, bearing grease, BreakFree CLP, G96, sewing machine oil, WD40, Rust Check, engine oil, trans fluid, etc. What is more important than what you use is that you use something like the above on clean threads, and clean/reapply occassionally. There's nothing magic about choke threads.

:agree: I have been using the copper colored anti seize for years.

Copper Anti seize is way higher heat than what is needed for a gun and costs way more than the base grade grey(Silver) Anti seize.

I work in a Steel mill use it everyday.
