Choke tube thread issue

I have pulled stuck chokes out where the threads on the choke must of stretched, they squeaked all the way out, and after lubing wont go back in, and i wont use the force i used to remove it to put it back in. A new choke threads in no problem

Did the gun have that choke in it before? Was there any choke in it before. Is there a chance it was shot without a choke screwed in?
