Choke tubes> Identification

Am sure I have a good idea but could someone tell me what the cut slots at the end of a choke tube for a Baretta mean..... I believe that on slot means full choke, 2 mean Modified and so on. Am I right? So if you have 4 slots what kind of tube is this. The writing on my tubes has deteriated and was wondering what kind of tubes I have. So what are 3 slots and such?
 
The list I got with my Stoeger choke tubes goes as follows.

1. Full
2. Imp. Modified
3. Modified
4. Imp. Cylinder
5. Cylinder

Don't know if they all use the same convention though.
 
Look at me, I'm learning stuff! I figured it was probably standard but I didn't want to say it was when I wasn't sure.

How do skeet, and extra full super-duper turkey and other weird sizes get designated?
 
The extra full chokes like turkey chokes will have the diameter written on the choke ... like .665 or .660 or whatever. The Specailty chokes will also have the particulars on the side... like "Long Taper Skeet" or "Steel Waterfowl for large shot". etc.
You can never have too many chokes...
 
A synopsis of the info from the Beretta USA site, for both Mobilchoke barrels (0.723" bore) and Optima ( 0.733" bore) barrels. I would concur with all the "Optima" information - with exception of the "Red" ( so called - European Skeet) chokes I have, they both measure 0.730" - and are not "flared" or reverse tapered chokes as the Beretta website would suggest :

Beretta Mobil & Optima chokes marked "SP" are supposedly "Steel Proof", and it is recommended by Beretta that steel shot be used with SP marked chokes of Modified or less constriction. This also applies, they state,to the former Remington "Heavy Shot" ( & to Federal "Heavyweight" shot I would assume as well ! ).
