choke tubes

I have been reading a lot about the wad wizard choke tubes. Are they as good as people say the are for ducks, pheasant, etc? Are they worth the money?

Wad Wizard and Patternmaster chokes work on a different philosophy then regular constiction chokes.

I have had a couple Patternmasters and am very happy with them. I haven't used a WW but know a few guys that have and they love them.

They work best on larger shot, under 1400 fps.

Last fall I picked up a WW SWAT12. I decided to go that route because most of my shooting is over decoys and I wanted a choke that would open the pattern as fast as possible. I have only patterned my favorite Kent 3.5" 1 1/4oz BB and Federal 3" 1 1/4oz #4 through it. I was quite pleased with both @ 20 yds but once out to 40 yds the pattern was starting to get too skinny. I have used it on a couple Sharptail hunts but pulled it in favour of the factory mod+ as birds were flushing at +30yds.
