chokes with the 1301 tactical beretta

I am looking to buy a 1301 gen 2.

My local shop had 2 in inventory.

When I was looking at them, both only came with 1 choke.

It was already installed in the gun.


I thought the gen 2 guns, come with 1 choke installed and 1 choke in the box? For a total of 2 chokes.


These are the gen 2, without the upgraded magazine tube etc.

Can confirm my LGS came with just the one choke installed and no others in box.

I have bought two Gen 2 1301 Tactical. Both only came with one flush cyl. choke tube installed. I have never heard of it being any different. It does hurt a bit since those chokes are about $100 each from Stoeger. I haven't found anything aftermarket, mostly due to a lack of looking.

Since Gen 1 had fixed chokes I will say that two chokes with any 1301 was never standard... I'm curious about this "upgraded magazine tube". I can't find a thing about it online. I don't recall that being a thing so if it is, someone please share some info.

It is mag fed, it is not detachable box magazine fed. A tube magazine is a magazine nonetheless. The M4 is on the list so who knows.

I think that means the gas piston spring is on the outside of the mag tube not at the end of it so extensions can be used. My a400 and 1301 barrels will not interchange as the big spring is different
