choosing scope for rifle

I'm new to this so correct me if I'm wrong but from few video that I saw the scope that you guys listed are second focal point wouldn't that make some problems when you want to adjust the scope to hit the target since if you are not using the full power zooming the mil-dot will change ( 1 mill dot is now 2 )

If you're just wanting to hunt and a bit of target shooting a second focal plane reticle is fine. That's what most scopes are. If you are thinking first focal plane reticle. The only advantage is when using your reticle for a range finder, especially at multiple targets at different distances. FFP scopes usually start around $1000 for a decent brand. Just my opinion.
