Gentlemen; Chopping my barrel down to 19 inches.The question, do I measure from where the barreland reciever join or do I count the internal thread.

Really? There is a law in Canada that says that barrels will be measured with a cleaning rod? You have a weird country.

Cleaning rods make it easy to do it. Dont think many people have depth micrometers or other depth gages that big.
