This was done a while back on patreon, and just released to youtube. I was hoping for something more in-depth, but even a little coverage is better than none. There are a few things not quite right in the video, but I'm glad to see he published it.

Interesting video (never extensively handled an XCR). If the XCR had a better quick change barrel system (similar to the ARX160) this would make it even more appealing. The allen key setup isn't bad, but I imagine it does add some extra weight to the front (like the ACR). The ACR setup probably falls somewhere in the middle of the XCR-ACR-ARX spectrum.

They seem to have gone way out of their way to distance themselves from AR15s, and the lack of aftermarket modularity/compatibility may have hurt sales.

I had to stop watching that guys videos. He shows you nothing he is shooting at and makes the experience look as boring as a day at a Quebec shooting range shooting from under a log.

I would like to see MAC do an update on that, he was obviously having issues (also seen in another vid). I would definitely be removing the barrel and gas block to have a peek.

That is the point of the rifle, better than an AR-15 / AK, the best of both packaged in a new design. RA has bad marketing and not a lot of industry support behind it, or so it appears. In the US where one can get great AR's and AK's a much cheaper prices, it's not a surprise.

Some are more in-depth than others, and he doesn't really do accuracy reviews beyond minute of man and commentary.

He reminds me of myself as a kid who had no actual shooting experience but a lot of soldiers of fortune and shooters magazine. He also doesn't seem to even be enjoying himself.

I wouldn't necessarily echo those sentiments. I will give it "not an AR15/AK" hybrid, but I definitely wouldn't go as far as saying better than either.

I doubt that will happen. In the XCR-M video he indicated Alex/RobArms requested the guns back so he couldn't do a complete review or any followup testing. That speaks volumes...

Not to me , T&E guns have time limits and MAC is busy. Others have reviewed, sent back for work and re-evaluated. I wouldn't read much into it.
