So I ordered one of these in 22-250 and it should be here in the next week or so, just in time for coyotes! Just wondering who out there has this gun and what your thoughts and opinions are on it. Would also like to hear what you used for scope mounting! Thanks in advance

once you have one of these in the safe its hard to go back to your other guns. I love mine and would buy another in a heart beat, I m running a zeiss conquest hD5 3x15x50 z800 on mine

I shot one of these in 308 win this weekend.
The first group out of it was around 0.5" with factory federal 168 gr bullets
The stock is nice, barrel was a bit short for my liking at 20", trigger was 2lbs right out of the box
It had weaver type bases on it.
Very lightweight rifle.
I would buy one but likely pull the muzzle break off it.

I think eventually the zeiss hd5 3-15x42 with lock plex turrets will be going on it. The 1/14 twist heals me back for a bit but Christensen assured me it'll stabilize a 55gr vmax. Glad to here those that have or have shot them like them.

lots of 14 twist 22-250's out there that shoot 55gr bullets just fine. Just disappointing when a company such as CA who specializes in long range accuracy, go 1:14 twist instead of a 1:9 or faster which would open a lot of doors for bullet choices

I think the vast majority of guys looking for a 22-250 are sticking with the 55's...classic varmint weight out of the 22-250. Even a 50 gr Vmax is excellent for killing and leaving small holes. I averaged $150 per coyote last year, small holes equal bigger cheques.

Id look at the new VX 5 or VX6 HD's if you really wanna get spendy. I have a VX6 3-18x50 Firedot and really like it as dedicated coyote scope...bit thick for small varmint but great on coyotes.
