I'm lookin at picking up a Christensen arms Ridgeline in either 7 rem mag or 300wm. ..looking for feedback good or bad.
Thx

I’ve had one in 22/250 that I did not like and then I was foolish enough to buy one in 6.5-284 that was no better. Accuracy was ok on both. Finish was lacking on both. The action in my opinion was rough and poor feeding especially for what you pay for them. I’ll never buy another. Buy a 700 stainless action and send it somewhere to get a carbon barrel and bedded into a custom stock and you’ll be at the same price point and way further ahead. Of course this is just my experience and opinion.

I have one in 6.5 Creedmoor, love it! Very satisfied with the accuracy (1" group at 300 yards) and the fit and finish is great in my opinion. I recall talking to waterhauler via PMs and answered a few questions he had before he purchased his, too bad he didn't enjoy his like I enjoy mine.

I was just on a hunt with a guy that had one. He was very happy with it, and topped with the Huskemaw scope they were smashing rocks out to 1300 yards. (I wasn't a fan of the Huskemaw sopes, but they certainly do track to allow those shots) fit and finish was impressive from what I saw.

A friend has one that needed work right out of the gates to feed properly. His was a 308 win. It was light and fairly accurate. The stock was so-so in my opinion as well.

My buddy owned one that was ridiculously accurate! Well built too. He got the itch for a cooper sp it went down the road.....I wish I bought it!

Sounds like finish is hit and miss...also the later production rifles have made in house by Christensen carbon wrap barrels...supposedly better consistency.

Had one in 6.5 PRC. Pretty reasonable build quality. Hate Remington based actions. Bolt throw angle is way too much and wouldn’t work with scope. Action also isn’t butter smooth. Accuracy claims were true. 0.5moa our of the box with factory ammo.

I wouldn’t buy one again.

I had two of them, first one was so bad couldnt even get it bore sighted cause the barrel was screwed in crooked or holes for mounts were drilled way off? Second one to replace first had the barrel carbon unwrapping right out of the box? No more of those for me. Build your own gun!!
