DFAIT EXT 1020 Application for International Import Certificate
http://www.dfait-maeci.gc.ca/trade/eicb/forms/documents/EXT1020.pdf
Print the EXT 1020 Application for International Import Certificate. Fill it out and fax or mail it to DFAIT. There is no fee. They will send you an
International Import Certificate. When you get it you can
mail it, along with your written order form, to Brownells. (It cannot be faxed because U.S. State won't accept copies.) Brownells will then send you a DOS form DSP83 Non-Transfer and Use Certificate, which you'll sign and then return to them, so that they can submit the completed form to U.S. State. When State issues the Export Permit to Brownells they'll then ship to you. Upon receipt of your order you must then inform DFAIT of it's arrival in Canada.
That's it, that's all. It's really simple and it costs nothing.
