A couple of graphite McMillan Legends for dressing up my barreled actions arrived today.

With these particular stocks you order directly through D'Arcy Echols. They are proprietary. Right now he has inventory but I waited two and a half months for mine and they are EDGE.

I'm not overly fond of synthetic but those are good looking stocks/rifles. A what might be a silly question but do you leave then natural / apply some sort of finish? --- John303.

They will get a pad, studs, have the ejection port and bolt notch cut out and be painted.

Well the Mcmillain stocks are exactly what those 2 SS Winchester barreled actions need, I wish X-mas would come early for me and I receive one of those actions, and the bolt is on the proper side for some of us. Looking to see pics of them finished Chuck.

Nothing a Dremel and a shaky hand can't fix!

What a terrible thing to do. I would simply clear it to add depth to the weave and call it good. But they are your stocks and you can do whatever you like.
