So my brother just stopped by and dropped of a almost complete 12 guage reloading setup. Press looks to be in vrry good condition. It didn't include powder or wads but I have enough of those.

Anybody know the worth of these presses? I want to send a gift card to the guy who gave it away.

Also are parts still available? Would love yo get it auto indexing.

Thanks.

p.s. those boxes of shells are not reloads.

I don't think they held their value very well. Hornady intended the design to replace the 366, but the model only lasted a few years before Hornady dropped it and went back to the 366. So in terms of numbers, I would say figure out what a 366 would be worth and go down from there.

Had one for years when I was competing. Great machine, loaded maybe 50,000 rounds, never broke, no need for parts. Takes standard bushings. Not recommended if you change loads frequently or only load occasionally ( you need to learn this machine like any other progressive and if you get rusty you can have empty shells, powder or shot all over the bench or a total jam up). If I shot enough to still warrant a progressive press I would happily buy another.

Nice looking machine.

Now you have to make yourself a shot maker :)

Regarding value, it's whatever someone is willing to pay for it I guess.
With the current shot and powder prices vs. price of target loads not many people bother reloading them so very good deals pop up every now and then.
Got myself a 366 almost free considered that it came with 4k primers.

After going through the "shotgun progressive loading learning curve" myownself, I will recommend every one mounting a new shotgun outfit to do so in an old bath tub...that way you will have a drain site for the "inevitable, ohhh $hit" clean-up.
