Right when I though I would be good for the year this black friday deal at irunguns got me...

Pulled the trigger on a PWS mk114 with pinned brake for 1600$ usd + taxe.

This is a really good price for a pws in Canada

here is a preview of the rifle

:runaway::runaway: Im so excited that will be my first AR-15!

Nice!
The more I see people loosing their AR virginity the more I want to get past 3rd base (shooting my friends AR) and slide to home & get my own.
More pics when you put your PERSONAL TOUCHES on yours!

Very nice, I own 2 PWS rifles, you won't be disappointed. They are really well built, reliable, accurate, and surprisingly light for a piston rifle.

"Hey hunny we are going a secret Santa gift exchange this year on CGN. To save money on shipping I am just going to buy my own present" I don't see that working for me this year.

Don't ask permission silly boy.
Two years ago for my present to myself I bought a Desert Tactical SRS 338 Lapua and last year I bought a new RFB. This year I just bought myself a used ACR with a 12.5 inch barrel and a Geissle trigger :)

Just buy her something nice and she'll forgive you ;)

I just picked this up from another member today.

Now I have the3 basics I was issued early on in my career. I just need a C2 and C5 to finish it off.

I made a clone of my last issued weapon, a C8 FTHB and need to find a semi only C9 and C6 to finish it off. Not holding my breath.

Congratulations. Absolutely nothing wrong with a Christmas selfie :)

Hey guys what kind of stuff I need to maintain my AR?

What kind of tools do I need?
What kind of lube and oil do I need?
Is there anything I omitted?

Thank you

You will want to get a good nylon brush to get into those hard to reach places. Oil is oil in my own opinion, any normal gun oil will work. It is a piston operated AR so lube with care, it doesn't need loads. Make sure you get yourself some good mags and lots of them, nothing worse than having to stop your AR shooting fun to have to pump up some more mags every time you empty one or two.

A nice scope for your needs. Your buying a PWS so it isn't cheap as it is. Don't skimp out on the scope/sights.

If you want a good solid firing platform to shoot from then your probably not Going to get great accuracy out of some cheap bipods etc. invest In a good bipod or just shoot like a AR is supposed to be shot :) free handed.

And finally get good ammo, most people give AR's bad rep for accuracy, but then put norinco junk through them...what do they expect lol. Lots of good quality ammo!

Your all set for fun my friend!

I don't have an R-PAL yet but I really love my 30 cal battle rifles and I really want some good pistol caliber carbines. As this year is not that good for money I think I will just get afew things for my M305.

I like turtles

JK, personally I would skip the pistol caliber carbines, I found that for me at least they are cool in the beginning then you realize they don't really have much practical use. They cost about the same as 223 to shoot and have 20% of the range.
Maybe buy one down the road after you have an AR or something other black 223
