Chrome firing pin Vs Park

what are the benefit of the chrome firing pin vs the parkerized one ?

A fully chromed firing pin resists corrosion and has a greater lubricity inside the bolt so it resists sticking, it's tang is also harder, so the tang wears less, however it may wear the receiver safety bridge more.

Never replace a M14/M1 Garand firing pin without checking pin tip protrusion and safety bridge retraction.

I run chrome pins in most of my M14's.
