Chrome Line VZ58's......

I know full well they are sold, but more will eventually come in as they are in high demand. I am asking, is it just a chrome barrel, or port as well?

Warranty eh? Did you have the problem with the non-chrome version as well. Or just the chrome one. What was the problem anyways?

I hope this isn't just a case of someone hating on the gun for no valid reason, I have heard all too much of that in regards to the XCR by some very insignificant cgn members.

Yours was in for repair too eh.

What did yours need to be fixed?

My firing pin was flying out of the bolt, the groove that was holding the pin in place essentially sheared off when this happened. I was also getting exploding primers, well pretty much a massive deep hole in the primer and brass on the bolt head.

This is with the chrome lined version, one of the 4 SFRC brought in. I cannot comment on the others. I've only shot an 858 apart from this one with the exact same batch of ammo no problems whatsoever.

Not at all :). I can assure you something is very wrong with the design stock gun I bought. However, I am very pleased with the gunsmith taking care of the issue. To be honest he's probably the only reason I haven't demanded my money back because if anyone can bring my gun back in working order it would be him and I'd really love the reliability these guns are supposed to provide. Not to mention I'm learning more and more about the rifle just talking to the guy.

macds, the first time this happened was after about 9 rounds.

Hmm, wild I always thought vz's in 7.62x39 were great, I've heard complaints about both the CSA and CZ versions. Maybe it was just a lemon.
