Chrome or Nickel 22LR maker?

Picked up a few odd boxes of 22LR at a gun show over the weekend, some of them were ex- DND and Property of Canadian Government marked.
One box was half and half common brass cartridge with a D on the bottom, but the rest (about 20 rounds ) were chrome or nickel cases- with an "R" inside a police-style shield on the bottom.
Look to be high quality, fired 2 of them off and worked well, had a look inside the empty and it was spotless. And I mean super clean, no visible residue. A function of the chrome cases or the propellant?
Anybody care to ID these rounds? I can post pics later. Curious who made them and specs on them.

RWS, from Germany, use an R in a shield as a headstamp. Not sure if anyone else has/does. Could be some premium match ammo maybe? I've never seen RWS with nickel cases and I have a half dozen of their current offerings. Maybe older ammo that they no longer make?

The clean inside of the case would be from a very clean burning propellant. The nickel case wouldn't have anything to do with it.

Yes, that's the stamp mark. And they are only lead bullets, not silver so not werewolf ammo (would a 22 even take down a werewolf? ) but they are clearly nice and shiny so must be worth a lot of money too!
