Chromed Sig 226 slide?

Hi all,

Just curious if anyone has chromed the slide on their Sig 226. I like the two tone look a lot and was quite happy with the work of Rodger Kotanko. I'm thinking of getting it done on my Sig 226 DAK because you can't get the stainless slide in the DAK. Any thoughts or suggestions let me know!

All new Sigs come with stainless slides. Rather than chroming, I would simply remove the Nitron finish and polish/brush/beadblast the surface to get the look that you want. Doing so would be cheaper than chroming and you wouldn't have to worry about the finish flaking off in the future.
