Has anyone actually chronographed the Hornady Light Mag ammo? If so what were the gains over regular factory ammo? What bullet weight and caliber were you using? How long was the barrel? Thanks for any info y'all can provide.

I have tested it and, as a joke, included some of it in my own packaging in a submission to an ammo lab. They were confused because velocity was much higher and pressure was normal. They know there is no free lunch (high velocity needs high pressure).
They shot all 20 rounds, so did not have one to take apart. If they had, they would have found 60 gr of powder heavily compressed slow powder in the 308 case.
The 308 gets very close to 300 mag velocity.
