chrony meets self confidence!

This is why I'm going to make a large impact shield for my chrony.

Just 3" of 4140 at 35-40RHC should do. Sure it'll be heavy but it should stop everything under 50 BMG...
 
I don't use the sunshades anymore. Instead use opaque scotch tape directly on the sensors. seems to give more consistant readings, especially in direct sun.

That really works eh?? I read about it somewhere and tried it but had absolutely zero luck. Took the tape off and no problems:confused::confused: And yes, it was scotch tape and not duck tape:rolleyes:

"no problem, just use my rest and we can line you up"

"really?"

Me...
