Well... I finally had the opportunity to visit the range and chronied some numbers from my new S410 Xtra .22cal 8)
I'm very happy with the result I was getting and plan to do some more chrony with a higher start fill, max 2900psi at another date and time. Looking at the first 60 shot graph that started at 2800psi, I think had I gone 2900psi I'd be getting that bell curve we strive for in our PCP which means that I'd can get about 40 good full power shots instead of the 30 shots at 2800psi.

I also used the Hawke ChairGun Pro to graph my POI for each pellet I used. What I did was took the three 10 shot strings and averaged the MV for the final velocity I entered into the CG Pro. As you can see both the JSB and Crosman Premier are identical yet the JSB had a 2 ft/lb advantage over the Crosman Premier.
While the Kodiak pellet had a high ft/lb and does buck the wind but the trajectory is not as flat as the other two pellets I’ll be using.

Last note, the S410 Xtra is so darn accurate right out of the box I’m speechless…
“ A top quality PCP rifle - $1000. Knowing that it’ll shoot exactly where you point it - Priceless!”

Good job. Thanks for the post. I wonder why it won't drive them over 1000fps with that pressure.

I'm guessing how they made the valve system like the Talon valve vs the Condor Hi-Flo valve.

UK made PCP are awesome.

Honestly, under 1000fps is deadly accurate, I'm talking tac driver, pellet on top of pellet when shooting into my silent pellet trap at 25 yards. And with any of the three pellets I tested the ft/lbs is more than even for small game/pests out to 50 yards. I've come to the conclusion that what works for me is if I need more ft/lbs for a bigger, greater distance job then out comes the Ruger 10/22T.

I hate to say it but the Condor was OK when I was really trying hard, controlled enviroment, rifle hold and no wind. The S410, I s**t you not, is amazingly accurate right out of the box. And it's soooooo quite with the factory shroud with baffles.... who farted??? Oh... that was my S410 :D

I don't see why you had accuracy issues with the Condor. They both use Lothar Walther barrels. As far as the noise issue, a muzzle break takes care of that.

A know problem with the Condor. Nothing wrong with the barrel. Unfortunately barrel to bushings x 2 to frame. If frame flexes then barrel move thius causing change in POI.

When you visit TAG try a search on the mysterious change in POI.

Personally I got tried of it. Look look, there's a groundhog. Wait ... Mr. Groundhog please don't move as I need to make a couple of zero shots before I shoot you. Right , whatever.

I have the first one sold in Canada and it's news to me. I've shot gophers out to 75 yards and haven't adjusted my scope in years.

Lucky guy...

Doesn't matter for me now cause I love my S410 and the Condor has flown off to aanother nest
