I have recently worked on two sporterized guns with "Churchill Gunmakers" stamped on the barrel. One is a Mauser action in 30-06 and the other is an Enfield #4 action in 303 br. Both have very nice stocks and both look as if the barrels have been changed. (none military barrels)
I have been searching the net for historical info on Churchill Gunmakers but only found one reference to a book called "The House of Churchill by Don Masters". I would like to know a little about the company but can't justify $80.00 on a book that may or may not have the info.
Anyone here know of an internet source for such info?
