I recently acquire a Long Branch No 4 mark I* dated 1944 and all matching. The rifle has been sporterized by "Churchill guns maker, London".Nice blue and nice pale walnut.Checkering is like basketwave and forestock has a Schnabel tip.Bore is shiny and deep groove.Only drawback is that the rifle has been store upright for a long time and the original recoil pad has hardened and is falling apart. What I want is to have some informations about the Churchill company or have some links to lead me on more details.
Do they have more value than another sporterized Enfiled? Thanks.
