I was at the local gun shop, not expecting to buy anything. but.......... I seen a cool little churchill shorty pistol grip sitting on the counter.
The owner offered me a Smokin deal for the gun plus ammo....just couldnt say No.
Its got a similar 870 action that works very well. I was surprised.
Holds 5 with 1 in the chamber of 2 3/4 shells. five seems efficient. Its got a 12 inch barrel.
it cycles much better than I figured a cheap shotgun would. impressed. has a front bead site, and comes with a Sling too.
with target loads its effective to 25 to 35 yards. with buck shot its doable out to 50 yards.
and with slugs your still able to hit larger targets at 100 yards. thats pretty good for a 12 inch barrel.
of course your FPS will be down about 100fps.
It does more than I thought it would. Its Light, cheap, effective and works as well as my old maverick.
its just a cool novelty. no buyers remorse. I did pack the stock with coarse saw dust tailings to help with re coil.
