A friend of mine got a good deal on a CIL 12 gauge pump model 612, which from what I have heard is a rebranded Savage model 30. Unfortunately when I was examining it i noticed that the butt stock is cracked horizontally about an inch on both sides where the trigger assembly mates with the butt stock. I figured I would try to get him a replacement butt stock.
So where could I find a replacement butt stock for a Savage model 30 12 gauge pump, and how easy would it be to transfer the trigger assembly into the new butt stock?
