CIL 180 short stocks.

I got these two Anschutz CIL 180 guns included in a gun lot from someone, (no sights) the problem I have with them is that the stocks have been shortened at some time in the past, I suppose you could add to the stocks, but, that would look ugly as hell, in my opinion anyway.
I wonder if there is an other solution to this conundrum...?

Get them out of your hair. Make them someone else's problem. Sell them on the EE.
 
If you're going to extend it, don't try and hide it, IMHO. Trying to blend in a piece of wood will look, well, exactly like you tried to scab on a piece of wood and blend it in.

Turn it into an accent. Make a spacer between the stock and butt-plate out of something of a remarkably different, but complimentary colour. Picturing it in my head, I would go with either a deep red or ivory white spacer, but I would need to have the stock in front of me, with a couple different coloured strips to put down to visually look at the contrast. Fairly common thing to do with high end shotguns, and if done right, it can add to the visual appeal of the stock.
