IM looking at a CIL 180.

Seems to be a very good to excellent right , nice bore

Any info?

What would it be worth?

Excellent rifles...they were made by Anschutz for CIL, and built on the Anschutz 64 action. Adjustable trigger that when set up properly breaks like a rod of glass.. If you can get it for under $450 you're getting a very good deal, they go for more depending on condition and demand. I have seen the 310 go for $700 and up.

I've had a few of these rifles. The 64 action CIL Anschutz 180 was available from about 1963ish to about the mid 1970s. Most had the 5057 trigger, which has a 2-3 lb pull. It has limited adjustability Later ones may have had the newer 5094 trigger. Although there is probably no issue with the bore, simply looking down it will reveal very little about its condition. The barrel on the 180 is a standard profile, while that of the CIL Anschutz 190 is heavier. There is no way to tell how accurate a rifle like that is until you shoot it.

Having fired both, I would get the 190 (which I own) rather than the 180.

I sold one on here last year for $450 in rough shape with aperture sights in 10 mins. Knew it was too cheap but...it was more than I paid! Fyi the trigger is adjustable but its not double stage.
