I have a CIL Anschutz model 310.
It has checkering on the Hand Grip and the Forestalk.
It has a Magazine for five or ten shot clips, which I have.
It is in excellent condition and will shoot out the 10x at 25 yds on bench rest, every shot.
I am wondering what it is worth as I am thinking of selling it, as, I bought it in the first place
to shoot gophers with it with one of my friends. Have not shot one gopher.
At the present I have a Tasco 6 x 24 power scope with adjustable objective.
This scope has a very fine cross hair in it and for what I wanted it for and for target shooting
has been excellent.
Any help in this would be very much appreciated.
I hope someone out there with some knowledge of the CIL 310 can help me with this.
Thank You,
Hollerin Harold

Mine was $87.95 wayyyyy back when.

SandRoad, thanks for posting that catalogue, that's awesome!

I can remember waiting for the Acme Novelty Catalogue every spring and fall, and the CIL 310 was always the one to drool over!

Acme is where mine came from in the mid 70's, had the box till about 10 yrs ago.

We used to catch the No. 7 bus down to the Acme Novelty on 10th ave, just to ooh and ah over all the rifles.

Usually made the trip downtown Saturday afternoons after Cadets, and Crown Surplus was a mandatory stop afterwards as was Don's Hobbies.

Wearing our uniforms into Acme always meant we could handle whatever hardware we wanted, and I can remember the CIL 310 was always the Mac Daddy of the rimfire rack. $79.99 seems to ring a bell as to how much they were in 1971.

I don't remember any CIL 190's, but they must have been there.

I bought my 310 at the Acme store in the old Dominion Shopping Centre on Goulet Street in St. Boniface in 1972 or 1973 ... paid $110 for it (from my tips at The Old Spaghetti Factory). It's still a super gopher rifle here in Alberta, with a Leupold Ultralite EFR 3-9 variable mounted in Anschütz-specific vertically-split Talley steel rings for the European dovetail.

I got my Model 310 for my 14th birthday in 1966. Dad bought it at Harkley & Haywood Sporting Goods opposite Woodward's Dept. Store in Vancouver. (That will bring back some memories for old Vancouverites!) They fitted it with Lyman aperture sights. I'd guess dad bought it for about $90 or so. I still have it and it shoots very well indeed.
